Cars on Screen

For this one, I’m my own client. This passion project is a nine-piece series focusing on my love of cars and film. As far back as I can remember I've been drawn to cars in movies and television. Every print representation I was able to find lacked those details that made them so memorable. This is an example of “if I can’t find it, I’ll just make it myself.”

I’m my own most challenging client, since I hold my work to a high standard. This has been a labor of love, pouring over every detail until I nail those otherwise invisible moments that make each car so unique. Vector art is, in my opinion, more difficult methods of illustration for a lot of designers to master. This exercise is a way to challenge myself and grow as a designer. Also it now I have some cool stuff to hang on the wall that 12 year old me would love.
